Features
Manual adjustment of the chute angle on the spout is standard equipment on the SB21 Series Loader-Mounted Snowblowers.
An optional electrically controlled hydraulic cylinder is available to adjust the deflector angle.
The chute rotation and optional chute angle adjustment are powered by the hydraulic power pack and controlled with rocker switches installed in the tractor operator station.
As base equipment on SB21 Series Loader-Mounted Snowblowers, the discharge chute rotation is controlled with an electrically controlled hydraulic motor.
The chute rotation is powered by the hydraulic power pack and controlled with a rocker switch installed in the tractor operator station.
The SB21 Series Loader-Mounted Snowblower's hydraulic three-point power packs are self-contained and powered by the tractor's rear power take-off (PTO). They are Category 1 and iMatch™ quick-hitch compatible.
- HP2025 Hydraulic Power Pack is required for model SB2164 Snowblower.
- HP2134 Hydraulic Power Pack is required for model SB2176 Snowblower.
Add suitcase weights (shown above) for additional ballast to the rear of the tractor.
Frontier™ SB21 Series Loader-Mounted Snowblowers monitor the torque applied to the impeller, which is an industry-exclusive feature.
The speed of the auger slows down when maximum torque is sensed, alerting the operator to slow ground speed. This allows the impeller to move away excess snow.
This feature reduces plugging during operation.
The SB21 Series Loader-Mounted Snowblowers come in a 162.6-cm or 193-cm (64-in. or 76-in.) working width, a 152.4-cm or 68.6-cm (60-in. or 27-in.) working height, and a 38.1-cm (15-in.) diameter auger. These features make quick work of snow-removal jobs.
Steel skid shoes are adjustable and replaceable. The cutting edge is also replaceable.
The field-installed drift cutter kits are used when snow is taller than the blower. It directs tall snow down to the snowblower, where it can be redirected.
NOTE: For SB1388R, SB1388, SB1308, SB1308R, SB1392 and SB1392R Three-Point Snowblowers, and SB2164 and SB2176 Loader-Mount Snowblowers.
Chute deflector and rotation kits allow the operator to change the direction of snow exiting the chute.
